Leadership Development Programme LDP – with CMI

Leadership Development Programme (LDP)

for managers and team leaders accredited by the CMI

The EIMF Leadership and Management Development Programme (LMDP) is a five-day, high energy intense general management course that offers a great learning experience for participants. In five days we put an emphasis on building participant’s confidence as a manager and leader of their organization.

The LDP has met the rigorous quality standards of the Chartered Management Institute and has achieved the CMI Accreditation. Participants can get an immediate benefit from their CMI membership and pursuit the Chartered Manager status, the highest achievement in the management profession. Thousands of managers are already working towards Chartered status, as proof of their ability to lead people and manage change.

Managing a unit or an organization It’s challenging. We know.
Mid- to senior-level managers — leaders of managers — often say their job is challenging but at the same time exciting and fulfilling. They also say that is definitely not a simple job.

What are the main challenges they face?

Define, implement and execute a strategy

Leaders must know the distinctions between strategy, implementation, and execution that are helpful to running a company. Ignoring this fact or getting it wrong creates uncertainty and poor decision making

Getting the right balance in the organization

Managing the top and the bottom of the hierarchy in an organization and making people and processes work effectively

Creating a collaborative environment of trust
Leaders must think and act across organizational units and departments — and help others to do the same.

Handling complexity and enabling change
Leaders handle uncertainty, change and must be equipped to enable staff to solve problems and deal with their own issues

Setting realistic goal and performance management

Leaders must be able to put in place processes and measures designed to help them manage the organization, and get a competitive advantage, through appropriate benchmarking tools
