Introduction

Due to the volatility of the business environment, organisations are required to use temporary systems that are flexible in order to address the market changes, the evolving and disruptive technologies and competition. Project based management provides the required flexibility and at the same time productivity and economies are achieved through structured project management efficiency and effectiveness. For these reasons, Project Management in today’s business environment represents a strategic competence of organisations and project management skills are considered a priority.

Instructional Objectives:

Several project management frameworks and methodologies have been developed to address the increasing needs of project based work. The course combines the principles and techniques of the most widely used project management methodologies and provides the essential steps to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close projects, regardless of their size, application area and business sector. Trainer: 

Andreas Solomou

Andreas Solomou has substantial experience in managerial positions. He has managed numerous projects in the fields of product development and education. Since 2006 he has been training professionals in various fields including project management.

 He holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), and he is a certified project manager (PMP) by PMI (Project Management Institute), as well as a certified trainer of Microsoft (MCT). He also has an MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certification for managing projects using information systems. He regularly delivers training to ECDL’s professional trainers regarding Project Planning.
