SUMMARY:Governance in Action: Applying ISO standards to drive effective & a
 ccountable organisations
DESCRIPTION:This seminar is part of the series “Mastering GRC with ISO
 ”—a four-part seminar series co-organised by the Centre for Good Govern
 ance and the Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS)\, under the ausp
 ices of the Cyprus Compliance Association\, and delivered in partnership wi
 th the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF). Learn more her
 e.\n\nThis session explores how ISO 37000 (Guidance on the Governance of Or
 ganizations) and ISO 37005 (Governance Maturity Model) provide a practical 
 framework for translating governance principles into organisational action.
 \n\nIt will examine how boards and senior leaders can use these standards t
 o strengthen purpose\, accountability\, and decision-making\, assess govern
 ance maturity\, and drive continuous improvement.\n\nThe seminar will also 
 highlight the value of adopting internationally recognised governance bench
 marks\, demonstrating how effective governance systems enhance organisation
 al performance\, resilience\, stakeholder confidence\, and long-term sustai
