Effective Written Communications for Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit Professionals

Those of us working in control functions face particular difficulties in getting our message across. What we have to communicate is often complex, technical and sometimes unwelcome. Our audience can be indifferent, resistant and fearful of being criticized or exposed. Meeting these challenges calls for a considerable level of skill, and some psychology, to be employed in the written word.

This intensive and very practical one-day course is designed to help professionals in compliance, risk and audit roles to improve their written communications and achieve results from their writing.  It can be difficult to convey complex, technical messages in a way which engages readers and calls them to action.  In this course you’ll learn a variety of tools and techniques which help you to engage, influence, and persuade, whilst ensuring that you write to the highest professional standards.
