The Compliance / AML unit is a key control function within regulated financial institutions, and it is of critical importance that AML Officers can demonstrate they have the key skills required to do the job properly.

 

This workshop-style programme aims to meet the current needs of AML Officers in the UK.  The course will provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to work in AML / Compliance.  It is highly interactive and relevant case studies will be used throughout to help participants understand the subject matter and acquire relevant practical skills which they can implement afterwards.

  • consider how best to investigate suspicious activity
  • practice writing an external Suspicious Activity Report (SAR)
  • develop their oral and written communication skills
