Fund Strategies for Portfolio Managers

The programme aims to deliver an overview of the most popular fund management strategies for use by UCITS and AIF professionals as well as professionals working in CIFs which hold the portfolio management license.

At the same time, the course will elaborate on how these strategies need to be adjusted in order to abide by the prospectus law and be within the AIFM/UCITS legal limits.

The programme is divided into two days. On the first day, the most basic investment strategies will be overviewed, looking at how these strategies are affected by prospects law and the AIFM/UCITS regulation, whilst on the second day, more advanced strategies will be studied, including examining the various strategy combinations. The compliance part of these strategies is also thoroughly examined. Practical strategy examples will be used throughout the course duration.
