Training Objectives

Each learning area has specific learning objectives that are noted on the programme Training Schedule (clickable).

In overall terms the participants of the programme will:

• Understand their own style of leadership and management and how this affects their role
• Consider different leaderships styles and how they may be applied to their day-to-day tasks and responsibilities
• Develop self-awareness and understand how they are perceived by others
• Understand the importance of self-regulation and adaptability and how these can be cultivated
• Attain confidence in their ability to lead and manage their people in rapidly changing times
• Become equipped with tools and skills to effectively lead, manage, motivate and inspire others
• Articulate the power of empathy as a leadership power-tool and how this is achieved
• Understand the impact of effective communication on the success of the organisation

The programme is ideal for all professionals who lead organisations, manage people in departments, units or teams within all industry sectors and organisational functions, as well as those who run their own businesses and practices.

Training Style

The Leadership programme is interactive in nature and participants will be actively involved, using their own experiences and challenges to reinforce and adapt the new knowledge and skills to their own reality, as well as examples, case studies and simulations provided by the training team.

The use of assessments, tools and reflective exercises will also allow participants to increase their awareness and provide opportunity for peer reflection and discussion.

The Live Online session will combine elements of PowerPoint presentations, group and/or break-out groups, open discussions, case studies, audio/visual material and experiential exercises/tools.

Knowledge Test

At the completion of the knowledge areas, participants will be assessed via the form of Multiple-Choice Questions which will consist of questions related to the material taught. The aim of the assessment is to examine participants’ overall attention and knowledge of material taught as well as their competencies towards the implementation of practical cases.

CPD Recognition

This programme may be approved for up to 28 CPD units in Personal and Professional Development. Eligibility criteria and CPD Units are verified directly by your association, regulator or other bodies which you hold membership.
