Contemporary challenges facing Boards of Directors at the heart of the 22 September conference.
The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) and the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGIUKI) are organising the Annual Corporate Governance Conference for the second consecutive year, on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, at the University of Cyprus (Kallipoleos area) in Nicosia.
In an environment of rapid technological, regulatory and geopolitical change, effective corporate governance has become essential to organisational resilience, accountability and long-term success. This year’s conference brings together more than 20 distinguished speakers from Cyprus and abroad to address some of the most significant challenges currently facing Boards of Directors and organisations.
The programme features thematic discussions on the role of regulation in corporate governance, Artificial Intelligence, family business governance, ethical leadership, governance of public entities, emerging risks, and the future challenges of corporate governance. The conference will also feature the presentation of findings from a corporate governance survey conducted by EIMF’s Centre for Good Governance.
The conference’s keynote speaker will be Kevin Featherstone, Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), who will deliver an address entitled “Governance Unplugged”. The discussions will also bring together representatives of regulatory and supervisory authorities, academics, Board members and senior executives from Cyprus and abroad.
Through this conference, EIMF continues to strengthen the dialogue on corporate governance in Cyprus, bringing together academic knowledge, international experience, regulatory and supervisory perspectives, and professional practice.

Οι σύγχρονες προκλήσεις για τα Διοικητικά Συμβούλια στο επίκεντρο του συνεδρίου της 22ας Σεπτεμβρίου
Το European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) και το Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGIUKI) διοργανώνουν για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά το Ετήσιο Συνέδριο Εταιρικής Διακυβέρνησης, την Τρίτη, 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026, στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (περιοχή Καλλιπόλεως), στη Λευκωσία.
Σε ένα περιβάλλον έντονων τεχνολογικών, ρυθμιστικών και γεωπολιτικών αλλαγών, η αποτελεσματική εταιρική διακυβέρνηση αποτελεί πλέον βασική προϋπόθεση για την ανθεκτικότητα, τη λογοδοσία και τη μακροπρόθεσμη επιτυχία των οργανισμών. Το φετινό συνέδριο συγκεντρώνει περισσότερους από 20 διακεκριμένους ομιλητές από την Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό, αναδεικνύοντας τις σημαντικότερες προκλήσεις που αντιμετωπίζουν σήμερα τα Διοικητικά Συμβούλια και οι οργανισμοί.
Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει θεματικές συζητήσεις για τον ρόλο του ρυθμιστικού πλαισίου στην εταιρική διακυβέρνηση, την Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, τη διακυβέρνηση οικογενειακών επιχειρήσεων, την ηθική ηγεσία, τη διακυβέρνηση δημόσιων οργανισμών, τους αναδυόμενους κινδύνους και τις μελλοντικές προκλήσεις της εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης. Στο πλαίσιο του συνεδρίου θα παρουσιαστούν επίσης τα αποτελέσματα έρευνας για την εταιρική διακυβέρνηση που διεξήγαγε το Κέντρο Καλής Διακυβέρνησης του EIMF.
