This is a highly interactive training workshop designed to outline the most important administrative procedures of funds. Following an introduction to funds, the material will look at regulatory controls, constitution of schemes, roles and responsibilities of the players involved and investment and borrowing powers. It will also look at the buying and selling of units or shares, registration and settlement, distribution of income, investor communications and of course, the taxation of collective investments.

This programme is aimed at operations and administration staff like Lawyers, Fiduciary and Administration Service Providers, and those who require knowledge of Funds – Collective Investment Schemes and how it relates to their job role.
By completing the two-day seminar participants will receive a certificate of attendance that will also be accepted for 10 hours CPD as per regulators requirement.
This seminar will also prepare interested participants to take the CISI Collective Investment Scheme Administration exam (if they choose to) and receive appropriate certificate as well. During his career Yiannos has held various managerial and executive positions in a number of multinational companies in Europe and the Middle East in a variety of industries.
He was involved in diverse activities ranging from business development to operations and executive management. He structured complex investment funds, lead organizational change, and implemented regulatory programs across international organizations.
Yiannos holds non–‐executive directorships in a number of financial services organizations and is a member of many international professional bodies. He is currently the Managing Director of Intelion Partners, a boutique firm focusing on management, financial, and investment firm/fund advisory and consulting.
