Beyond the Lecture: How Southampton Solent University Prepares Students for the Workplace
Discover what learning at Southampton Solent University actually looks like — active, supported, applied, and focused on your future.
Choosing a university is not only about the degree you receive. It is about how you learn, how you are supported, and whether your studies prepare you for the realities of professional life.
Join this free live webinar to explore Southampton Solent University’s student-centred, practice-led approach to teaching and learning. The session will show how Solent moves beyond traditional lecture-based education by creating an active learning environment where students are encouraged to participate, apply knowledge, receive feedback, build confidence, and develop the skills expected in today’s workplace.
The webinar is offered in the context of the new collaboration between the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) and Southampton Solent University, UK, which provides eligible graduates of EIMF’s Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management with a progression opportunity towards a UK bachelor’s degree.
At its core, this session is about the learning experience behind the qualification: what studying with Solent feels like in practice, how students are supported, and how its teaching model connects academic development with career readiness.
