The European Institute of Management and Finance is pleased to offer a dedicated scholarship scheme to mark the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026.
Through this initiative, EIMF aims to support talented and motivated applicants who wish to develop advanced knowledge in governance, regulation, compliance, European policy, risk management and institutional leadership — areas of direct relevance to Cyprus, Europe and the wider professional environment.
The scholarships are available for the following EIMF postgraduate programmes:
Master in Governance, Risk and Compliance (MGRC)
Master in European Economic Governance & Policy (MEEGP)
The language of instruction for both programmes is in English.
Key Clarifications
Candidates should first submit the online Expression of Interest form.
Eligible candidates will then be invited to submit a formal application to the selected Master’s programme, including all required admission documents.
Each application will be reviewed by EIMF. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to an interview as part of the selection process.
Receiving an offer of admission to the programme does not automatically guarantee the award of a scholarship.
Application Period
Applications for the scholarship scheme will be accepted from: 01/07/2026 to 30/07/2026 at 23:59.
Scholarship results will be announced by 07 August 2026. The deadline to accept scholarship and register is 13 August 2026.
Applications submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Who Can Apply
This scholarship scheme is open to eligible applicants who meet the admission requirements of the selected EIMF Master’s programme.
Preference may be given to applicants whose academic background, professional experience or future goals are linked to public administration, European affairs, governance, policy, compliance, regulation, risk management or related areas.
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis.

After submission, a member of the EIMF team will review your form and inform you whether you meet the initial scholarship criteria and can proceed with the formal programme application.

4. A full scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees only, unless expressly stated otherwise.
5. A 50% scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees only.
6. The application fee of €50 and registration fee of €200 are not covered by the scholarship.
7. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission to the programme or award of a scholarship.
8. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the relevant EIMF Master’s programme.
9. EIMF reserves the right to shortlist candidates and invite them to an interview.
10. Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.
11. Scholarships are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with any other scholarship, discount or special financial arrangement unless approved by EIMF.
12. The final decision on scholarship awards rests with EIMF.
13. EIMF reserves the right to amend the scholarship scheme, deadlines, criteria or terms and conditions where necessary.
