This is the introduction to front end software development and key UX techniques. You will gain competency in the top three programming languages, CSS, JavaScript & Python. After that, you’ll then demonstrate that knowledge in three projects which will become a showcase of your skills to employers.
Here you will learn how to access databases and use tools. For instance, you will learn how to use Bootstrap, Django, JQuery, PyTest & Jest. In addition, you will discover how to test code, how agile development teams work and complete your full stack project. As a result, you will be ready to add an advanced specialist skill and complete your qualification!

This course ”Full-Stack Software Development Diploma” is open to those with no previous coding experience along with those looking to develop their technical skills. The entry is based on completion of the 5-step coding challenge, a fun introduction to the concepts of coding. After that, we’ll contact you regarding the next steps of the application process.
You will first complete 4 projects to become a full stack software developer before focusing on your special eCommerce skill for your fifth, final project. For your final project you will apply everything you’ve learned throughout the course by working on an end-to-end advanced eCommerce website. Abov all, the project will give you the hands-on experience you need to confidently step into the field of eCommerce website development!

Delivered in partnership with the Code Institute, this course has been developed with input from the world’s top technology firms. It will give you the in-demand skills and knowledge you need to start a career in software development. As a result, you will learn the most up-to-date languages and build your portfolio of real-world example projects to showcase your talents to potential employers.
The online delivery gives you the flexibility to study around your existing commitments. For instance, you’ll complete 600 hours of learning over twelve months, roughly 150 hours of which will go into your milestone portfolio projects. Material is delivered through Code Institute’s world-class Learning Management System (LMS).
This course is about more than online content. There is a significant support package comessuarte to the academic demands of the course. This includes around-the-clock access to tutors, a personally assigned industry mentor to help guide your projects and personal career consultation to prepare you for a new role as a software developer.
Cohorts taking the programme with EIMF also benefit from 5 dedicated workshops. The workshops designed to develop your practical competencies, challenge your problem-solving abilities and advance your understanding of the concepts that you are learning. These workshops align with course projects. However, these do not form part of your assessment they do help familiarise you with the technologies and methodologies you would then use to build your milestone projects.
Code Institute learners enjoy access to a very vibrant and active community. This is a space with channels for peer-to-peer support, social networking and interacting with Alumni, experienced developers and hiring partners. Regular hackathons with hiring partners give learners a fun introduction to working as part of a developer team.

The Professional Diploma in Software Development is assessed through projects you complete for your portfolio rather than an exam. As in industry, your grade is achieved through the quality of your work. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Diploma in Software Development, awarded by Code Institute.
