24 Mar EIMF Post-Graduate Certificates
The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), an accredited and licensed training provider, is expanding the range of postgraduate certificates it offers to include a new certificate in “Financial Risk Management”, in addition to “International Financial Regulation” that was offered last semester as well. The two courses will commence in mid-April 2021.
Both certificates have been designed by the EIMF academic team and will form part of the “MSc in Governance, Risk and Compliance” – a post-graduate Master’s Degree that the EIMF intends to offer in the near future; this is currently under review by the ‘Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education’ (CYQAA).
The aim of the certificates is to offer in-depth knowledge in two critical areas (Risk and Regulation) that have gained prominence in the financial industry.
The two certificates will be offered long-distance, via the EIMF learning platform and participants can cover the syllabus at their own convenience and individual pace. The syllabus will be covered in 12 weeks, where for each week the participant will be offered lecture slides, reading material (through an extensive reading list) and individual or group assignments. Furthermore, there will be 5 live online sessions with the instructor.
Participants will be required to commit, on average, around 4-6 hours per week and additionally prepare an assessed assignment and undertake an exam in order to complete the course.
Participants in both Certificates will receive masters level knowledge and acquire expertise that will enhance their professional development, in a way, that will also be beneficial to the institutions that employ them.
