Welcome to the European Institute of Management and Finance! At the EIMF we are proud to cater to the needs of the ever-changing Financial and Professional Services Sector. Marios Siathas               

General Manager           

Marios has an extensive experience in the area of executive education, learning and development and consulting. For the past 14 years he worked as the Director of Executive Education at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). His prior experience includes the position of Manager of Corporate Training Programmes at the University of Guelph in Canada in Business Development for the Houlihans group in the US. During his long lasting career in Executive Education, he has gained extensive experience in working with organizations and individuals and in building specialised and unique learning and development solutions for them. He has managed several development projects for large and small companies in Cyprus, Egypt, Austria, Bahrain, Greece, Canada, China, Dubai, and South Africa. He holds a BSc in Marketing and Management from Western Kentucky University in the USA, and an MBA from the University of Guelph in Canada. He is a member of the board of the Institute of Directors (UK) Cyprus Branch, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, the Cyprus Human Resource Managers Association, Cyprus International Business Association, and several other professional bodies.

ACAMS

ACAMS is the largest international membership organization dedicated to enhancing the knowledge, skills and expertise of AML/CTF and financial crime detection and prevention professionals. Our members include representatives from a wide range of financial institutions, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and industry sectors.

HRDA

The European Institute of Management and Finance is an Accredited Vocational Training Center by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA). We offer a number of courses and seminars which are approved by the HRDA, and enterprises participating with their employees are entitled to the HRDA subsidies.

THE EIMF PREMISES

Our premises are centrally located in the capital city of Nicosia, with direct access from all cities of the island. We are situated in an ideal location, with ample parking space, access to restaurants and cafes and right next to one of the largest city parks of Nicosia for serene walks during seminar breaks.

Furthermore, our premises offer state of the art training facilities and classrooms with capacity of up to 50 people. All our classrooms are fitted with the latest technology in audiovisual equipment and all attention to detail was provided to ensure that the time spent here is a productive one.

EXPERT TRAINERS

The EIMF has access to a team of over 40 expert trainers, spanning almost every aspect of business, finance and management. Our trainers are highly qualified professionals with years’ experience, and with backgrounds in just about every aspect of the Financial Services Sector. Most of our trainers have extensive experience working in different parts of the world, which brings a wealth of knowledge to the training experience. Their expertise enables us to provide training using the latest theories, blended with practical case studies based on their own familiarity with the sector. We advise our trainer to build and use their own content and material so their teaching can be realistic and personal. We do help them in designing the training is such ways that can adapt to the learning styles of individual participants. It is our belief that teaching adults is inherently hard so we make every effort to make sure that our trainers are using the best available teaching methodologies that can be suitable to the needs of the diverse adult training participant. Furthermore, our trainers are highly trained educators themselves, as the EIMF provides ‘Train-the-trainer’ opportunities on a yearly basis.
