The European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) announces a conference workshop by renowned and internationally acclaimed Risk & Compliance Management expert George Lekatis, titled CRD IV: From the New Responsibilities of the Board of Directors to the Impact on Profitability. This half day event shall take place on the 22nd of September 2015 at 09:00 – 14:00 at Carob Mill in Limassol.
The Capital Requirements Directive IV (CRD IV) is one of the key EU rules governing Credit Institutions and Investment Firms. It is one of the most important updates in current regulations to come after the Financial Crisis, and it addresses key issues regarding Risk Management and Governance in the Financial Services Sector.
Part of a series of Director’s Workshops offered by the EIMF, the current workshop is addressed towards members of the Board of Directors of Investment Firms, Banks, COOPs, Fund Managers and other institutions in the Financial Services Sector, as well as providers of Support and Regulatory Compliance Services to the Sector such as Legal Professionals and Fiduciary Service Providers. It is paramount and a legal requirement that people in key positions in firms within the Sector receive training on the provisions of CRD IV and its implementation in the Risk Management and Governance Policies of their respective institutions.
The workshop will be presented by Mr George Lekatis, President of the Basel III Compliance Professionals Association and an internationally acclaimed and sought-after Risk and Compliance Management expert who has accumulated more than 23,000 hours experience as a professional speaker and seminar leader.
