02 Jun EIMF PUBLIC LECTURE SUCCESS
Nicosia, 21 May 2015 – We would like to announce the success of the first public lecture organised by the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF). The lecture was attended by prominent figures of the sector, including the Vice-chairman of CySEC and the Chairman of the IoD Cyprus.
The lecture was titled ‘Corporate Governance Considerations for the Financial Sector’ and was presented by Mr Alexis Kyprianou, expert advisor and trainer in negotiation and influencing techniques, and celebrated author of La bible de la négociation.
The public lecture covered the dynamics of the Financial Industry when it comes to the composition of the Board of Directors, the role of the stakeholders, the capital structure and the complexity of assets and liability classes, the current imposed regulation on the matter, and the role of technology under this scope.
Mr Marios Siathas, General Manager of the EIMF stated that ‘this is the first of a number of public lectures offered for free by the EIMF. As part of our continuous support to the sector, we will constantly identify the need of specialised training and development, and provide timely and accurate courses and seminars’
