Konstantinos is an Officer A’ at the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, currently detached at the Ministry of Finance. He has a solid background of over 18 years of practical experience in the field of financial services, which has been acquired in Luxembourg, Cyprus and Germany and covers both the industry as well as the regulator’s perspective on legal and regulatory aspects of fund management and asset management in general, financial innovation and crowdfunding. Within the context of his financial innovation duties, Konstantinos had drafted the CySEC Crowdfunding Directive prior to the application of the ECSPR,  was actively involved as a national expert in the MiCAR Working Party and was the Project Manager for the establishment of the recently launched CySEC Regulatory Sandbox. Konstantinos holds an LLB from the University of Athens, an LL.M. from the University of Heidelberg, an LL.M. from the University of Luxembourg and a Master in Business Law and Taxation (MBLT) from the University of Mannheim. During his studies in Luxembourg, Konstantinos had also effected an internship at the Court of Justice of the European Union and at the Embassy of Greece.
