Pantelis Karonias holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Cyprus, and during his studies he was awarded with many distinctions including the First Prize for the best academic performance. He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and he is a holder of the Advance Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT Qualification) which is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is also a Certified Trainer of Vocational Training by the HRDA. Pantelis has over 20 years of experience in Cyprus Taxation, International Taxation, Transfer Pricing and EU VAT, with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations. He has worked with international clients from various industries, including shipping, manufacturing, retail, software, and financial services, helping them transform their tax and VAT strategies. He is keen at identifying planning opportunities and providing tailored advice to clients on complex tax/VAT issues. Pantelis has a strong track record of successfully resolving tax disputes with tax authorities, providing expert opinions, and representing clients in tax audits. Pantelis is an accomplished and well experienced lecturer and is an examiner for a renowned Global Professional Body. He lectures taxation for the papers of ACCA, ACA and he has also conducted numerous tax training seminars for clients and other professionals, sharing his knowledge and expertise in the field. He has presented various in-house and open seminars concerning taxation with emphasis on international taxation, transfer pricing, tax planning and VAT.
