On Monday the 6-th and Tuesday the 7-th of July The European Institute of Management and Finance has organised a two day interactive seminar on International Loan Documentation that will also cover cutting edge Cypriot issues.
The seminar will be taught by international lawyer and financial analyst Dr. Nick Skrekas who has 11 years’ experience in presenting seminars. Whether you are a potential borrower or frequent lender, understanding the structure and meaning of loan documentation is essential to protect your interests. The seminar will begin with a general overview of the loan documentation process and the rights and obligations in syndication. The second day will begin with a fascinating review of critically negotiated provisions like guarantees, representations, undertakings and events of default
The seminar will be taught in an interactive style with scheduled question times and a workshop on each day for issue spotting, negotiating and drafting provisions.
Further there will be in-depth discussion on Cypriot issues like the fresh insolvency legislation, the process of securitising bad loan as well as the general codes and practices of restructuring non-performing loans.
