The economic crisis that hit Cyprus in the last couple of years, has led to massive losses in wealth for institutions as well as individuals, combined with steep rises in unemployment. Unfortunately a lot of mistakes have been committed that led us to this dire situation. Going forward, what has become obvious given the circumstances that we are experiencing is the need for finance managers/professionals to have a deep understanding of financial asset markets and products that would allow them to make wise decisions in regards to their investment strategies.
The aim of this seminar is to ensure that participants gain a deep understanding of the principles of investment management, and the tools of the trade – the different asset classes, the markets, investment analysis that includes financial mathematics and statistics, portfolio management and performance measurement.
Goals:
The seminar is divided into elements, each of which is subdivided into separate subjects, which, in turn, are made up of the following learning objectives:
