This seminar focuses on drafting, negotiation, and legal review of real estate lease and tenancy agreements in the Cypriot legal context. It examines residential, commercial, and long-term leases, highlighting enforceability, legal validity, key contractual clauses, rent conditions, termination, and remedies for breach. Participants will explore statutory protections under Rent Control Law, Contract Law, as well as registration of long leases at the Department of Lands & Surveys.
The seminar further examines risk allocation, landlord and tenant obligations, deposit handling, and protective mechanisms. Real-life case studies and contract templates will be analysed, equipping participants with practical skills to draft clear, enforceable, and legally compliant tenancy agreements.
