The EIMF team enjoyed an eventful and exciting start to 2023 with the introduction of their EIMF Customer Appreciation Week! It was our great pleasure to offer friends, clients and associations the opportunity to join some fantastic complimentary webinars!

Over the course of a week, we welcomed over 400 individuals who learned about mindful parenting, gut health at work, the cost of sleepless nights, how to set themselves up for success and had the chance to energize and practice some great Yoga moves too!

The EIMF Centre for Good Governance (CGG)

EIMF’s Centre for Good Governance (CGG) successfully commenced its operations this season, quickly impacting the business world, the public sector and academia.  A series of seminars, on topical issues, were delivered by international experts who shared their work and stimulated some very productive discussions!

Speakers included government and state officials, policymakers, academics, and industry experts who addressed topics, such as, Governance Structures for Family Business, Business Families and Family Offices, The Governance of the Core Executive: A Comparative Analysis of Greece and Cyprus, Striving for Better Governance: The case of State-Owned Institutions in Cyprus, The Road to Sustainability if Paved with Integrity – Whistleblowing as a Powerful Good Governance Tool!   We hope you had the chance to join us!

Furthermore, the CGG series of Working Papers was introduced, with the first offering a proposal for the governance framework for State Organisations and State Enterprises in Cyprus.  More papers will follow in the coming months so stay tuned!.

Live Online and Classroom Training

The number and scope of our learning initiatives continued to grow this season, with the largest increase seen in the field of law and other legal topics.  We welcomed professionals from all levels of the legal profession who joined us to enrich their knowledge, complete CPD requirements for the Bar Association and other bodies, enhance their soft skills or merely to enjoy the many exciting topics that were offered!

It was a real pleasure to meet so many newcomers: welcome to the EIMF family!

Of course, this was not the only area of growth and brand-new courses were also realised this season in the areas of Accounting, Tax, Regulatory Compliance, Soft Skills, FinTech, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and AML.

In fact, the season enjoyed over 50 brand-new courses – including the EIMF Certificate in Accounting for investment Funds, Artificial Intelligence and Its Significant Role in Financial Markets, Mica Regulation and Crypto-Assets Policy, Consumer Credit and Mortgage Credit Updates, EIMF Certificate in Financial Planning, Unfair Commercial Practices in Financial Services, the DFSA Regulatory Compliance CPD Programme and so much more!

Self-paced eLearning Courses

The season also witnessed an enriched eLearning collection of courses and topics for those that prefer the self-paced option – own pace, location & time!  Some of the newer topics include Social Media Marketing, Foreign Account and Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) & Common Reporting Standards (CRS), Cybersecurity Awareness, Sales Fundamentals, Budgets and Financial reports, and more!

Furthermore, we are about to unveil a new eLearning environment that will further enhance the learning experience, whilst individuals will continue to enjoy their own “Personal Learning Space” that has been so adored!

The Highlight

Of course, you will recall our wonderful announcement at the end of 2022 “EIMF Receives Accreditation as a Private Institution of Higher Education.”  

Well, since then things have been moving forward with rapid strides! We proudly announced the establishment of our EIMF Academic Advisory Council comprised of world-renowned academics, who will be providing support to EIMF’s faculty and administrative team, working on EIMF’s strategy and development, promoting research, implementing the School’s vision, ensuring the quality of all services offered based on international standards and best practices!  View our esteemed members of the Advisory Council

The spring season ended with a beautiful and proud moment for the EIMF team – the official inauguration of the EIMF Academic School and the Diploma in Financial Management & Accounting!

EIMF celebrated with a delightful reception and networking evening at their premises with the enthusiasm and support of the local community.  We were joined by prominent political, business, and academic figures attended this celebratory event, including ministers, members of parliament, ambassadors, high-ranking diplomats, government officials, representatives of professional bodies, and members of the academic community, as well as local authority officials and other distinguished guests.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all!

Registrations are now well on the way for our first intake in September and the EIMF Scholarships for the “Diploma in Accounting & Financial Management” caused quite a buzz! The successful candidates will be announced shortly!
