On the 23^rd of July 2024, the General Director of the Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS), Ms. Athina Panayiotou, and the Chief Executive Officer of the European Institute of Management & Finance (EIMF), Mr. Marios Siathas, formalised their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the EIMF premises in Nicosia, Cyprus.

This MoU signifies a pivotal advancement in the collaborative relationship between CYS and EIMF. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in their respective areas of expertise, focusing on key sectors such as Corporate Governance, Sustainable Finance, Financial Management, and Compliance Management. Both organisations are committed to joint training initiatives, research projects, and the exchange of technical expertise to promote the dissemination and enhancement of knowledge.

During the strategic meeting, representatives from both organisations had the opportunity to exchange viewpoints and agree on a detailed action plan based on the MoU. This plan will be jointly implemented, with regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure it aligns with the partnership goals.
