27 Jul Shaping the Future Through Learning: Spring 2026 Highlights and What’s Ahead
As we cross into the second half of 2026, we reflect on an outstanding six months, rich with success, milestones, and impactful learning experiences. Join us as we revisit the highlights since January, celebrate the milestones achieved, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities awaiting us this autumn.
The first semester brought a wave of new training programmes and further growth to EIMF’s team of expert trainers, reinforcing the organisation’s expertise and extending its coverage to meet shifting market demands.
Over the course of the semester, more than 160 programmes were delivered, combining EIMF’s proven high-demand courses, with over 30 new additions, backed by fresh collaborative partnerships and a wider range of subject-matter expertise. EIMF continued to deliver learning opportunities across established areas of professional importance, including financial regulation, artificial intelligence, accounting, management, and soft skills, while also expanding its offering in response to emerging business needs. A series of fully funded HRDA programmes further supported organisations in addressing critical priorities such as organisational, operational and strategic risk management, ESG, AI governance, succession planning, and operational resilience.
Key moments of the Spring Season 2026
AccountingWise Centre: A New Chapter for Finance Professionals
The AccountingWise Centre was relaunched as EIMF’s dedicated hub for accounting, finance, tax, compliance, and investment professionals. Bringing together professional qualifications, technical workshops, CPD courses, live events, webinars, and practical professional insights, the Centre is designed to help finance professionals navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and business environment through learning that is practical, relevant, and directly applicable to the workplace.
Scientific Collaboration with CYENS Centre of Excellence
EIMF completed a scientific collaboration with the CYENS Centre of Excellence, carried out under the Research and Innovation Foundation’s (RIF) Innovation Vouchers programme. Through this partnership, EIMF gained new tools and expertise to research, develop, and deliver innovative learning solutions. This collaboration represents a key step forward in shaping how EIMF designs and delivers learning in the years ahead.
Strengthening Good Governance Through Practical Learning and Collaboration
EIMF’s Centre for Good Governance (CGG) continued to advance its mission of promoting stronger governance practices through research, education, and collaboration. Between December 2025 and May 2026, CGG, together with the Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS) and the Cyprus Compliance Association (CCA), successfully delivered a four-part seminar series “Mastering GRC with ISO: A Standards-Based Approach.” Bringing together expertise in governance, compliance, and standards, the initiative reflects CGG’s commitment to bridging knowledge and practice while supporting stronger governance frameworks.
A New Partnership Standing with Families Through Childhood Health Challenges
A new partnership, with a meaningful social impact called “Knowledge Becomes Support“, was announced between EIMF and the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation. As part of this partnership, professional lifelong learning programmes will be made available for parents and adult siblings of children facing oncological and haematological conditions, and the medical, nursing, paramedical, and support staff. The initiative is grounded in a singular objective – to ensure that access to learning is sustained, even in life’s most trying circumstances.
Open University of Cyprus and EIMF Join Forces
The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) and EIMF signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop specialised, short-duration, high-level training programmes for the general public. This collaboration marks an important step in expanding access to quality lifelong learning opportunities by combining academic knowledge with EIMF’s expertise in professional and executive education. We look forward to sharing updates and new developments as this collaboration continues to take shape.

To celebrate this exciting new collaboration, EIMF hosted a special reception at the British High Commissioner’s Residence, bringing together representatives from EIMF, Southampton Solent University and the wider education community to mark the launch of this international partnership and the opportunities it will create for future graduates.
Through two dedicated webinars delivered in collaboration with Southampton Solent University, prospective students and the wider community gained further insights into the progression pathway and the opportunities available.
